Wang Lab - Structural Biology of Cell Surface Receptors

Wang Lab
STRUCTURAL BIOLOGY OF CELL SURFACE RECEPTORS

Our Research

Our laboratory has been primarily engaged in structural studies on cell surface receptors in immune and neural systems using X-ray crystallography and some other biochemical and biophysical techniques. These modular receptors are all composed of concatenate domains, such Ig-like, FN, EGF, -propeller, etc. These receptors function to communicate with environmental factors and transmit signals inside cells for response.
